Whatever it is you celebrate…I want to say Happy Holidays!

In my house, we have a lot of crazy traditions.

My kids are adults now, but we still observe many of those each year.

We celebrate Chanukah, but we also have “Jewish Christmas” with dim sum.

And, we’ve been going to the same Christmas Eve party for 22 years.

This party is thrown by our friends who moved from New York to Portland at the same time as us.

We have attended this party on both coasts.

Sometimes, when you do the same thing for a long time, you get bored or it isn’t fun anymore.

And sometimes no matter how long you’ve been doing the same thing, you still love it.

Either way, I like to shake things up.

So, even though we still love our traditions…we’re doing something different this year.

Alan and I are in Morocco this holiday season.

He’s only free to travel at specific times during the year,

And Morocco is way too hot in the summer…

So we decided to let go of tradition and go for it!

We’ve been here a little over a week now, and WOW!!

I can’t wait to bring you here in October on my Catapult Immersion trip.

Culture, food, people, colors – so much to experience.

Will this be a new tradition?

Maybe.

Will we go back to our old traditions next year?

Maybe.

Will we always have a great time no matter where we are?

You better believe it.

For now, I simply want to say “Happy Holidays.”
