Is It Ever Enough?

I love helping my clients define their impossible goals.

Those big, crazy, unbelievable, never-gonna-happen goals.

We give them a name…

And then push past them.

You know what?

Whenever I have a client meet and exceed those impossible goals, they inevitably say something like, “Oh, I guess I did that.”

And then they are on to the next insanely huge goal.

Recently, I have had a few people ask me:

Am I ever going to feel like it is enough?

The short answer?

I sure hope not.

Living a full life – really enjoying and being satisfied in life – is about expansion.

It isn’t about getting somewhere.

Creating visions and goals are what pull us forward.

Now, it isn’t that enough isn’t enough.

But instead, it isn’t about enough.

It is about expanding and being better than ourselves each day moving forward.

If we weren’t working on something life would be so boring.

Because life is a series of problems.

And the solutions of those problems are what make life worth living.

Someone once said to me, “Honestly a life is one problem after another. What makes a life small is if those problems are petty.”

They went on to say, “To keep moving forward, you need problems that are way bigger than you are, and you need to get out of your own way.”

Really stop and think about that for a minute.

What problems rule your days?

What problems do you focus on in your life?

In your business?

Don’t wait for tomorrow to tackle the big problems.

You need to find that big, scary problem – that is bigger than you are – and start working on it now.

And when you solve that problem (and you will) …it is time for the next gigantic problem.

Have you picked an impossible problem to tackle? Please share it with us in the comments.

Until then…stay passionate!
