An entrepreneur’s life can get pretty crazy.
You have 500 priorities pulling you in 1,000 different directions.
Where do you start?
What is important for you to focus on?
You can’t think about next week or next year; you are too stuck thinking about the next hour!
Your life has become about self-preservation…
Focusing on treading water instead of learning how to swim.
At some point, if you want to be successful, you need to look around and see the life preserver floating right next to you.
Stop right now, take a breath, and look into the future.
As I mentioned in my last couple of posts, I have changed up my business.
Currently, I am only doing two things: long term one-on-one coaching, and two-day intensives.
The two-day intensive is something I am really excited about.
It starts with 8 weekly coaching sessions.
After that, my client will come to spend two full days with me (I know – it is a dream come true!)
I make sure to cater this time to whatever my client needs.
We have our meals together.
We go for walks.
We do whatever it is that will be the most effective method for them so they can achieve a transformation in themselves and their business.
Now, don’t go thinking this time is all sunshine and rainbows…it is called a 2-day intensive for a reason.
We take a deep dive into what is holding them back on day 1, and then tackle a full day of hands-on strategy and planning on day 2.
This gives them a map to follow and implement to achieve their goals.
We all need some time to step away from our businesses so we can see clearly.
This is a time to realize what your goals are.
Or to reignite your passion.
Or to discover you are on the wrong path (or the right one).
If you have the discipline to do this on your own, that is awesome.
But if you need permission to take the time – hire someone to help you.
Your business is a living, breathing thing…and it deserves some pampering every once in a while.
Think of how much time you spend on your business.
You spend countless hours every year.
So take a day or two to plan for the future.
When you do – get out of your space. Get out of your head. Shake things up. The different perspective and environment can help you to see things more clearly.
What rituals do you have to dedicate time to the future of your business? Share them in the comments!
Until then…stay passionate!
