3 Suggestions That You Should Put On Your No-No-No List.

If you’re struggling to make money and grow your business (or career), it could be because you’ve been given BAD advice.

When I first started out in business I got loads of bad advice. In fact, the “grow your business” industry was overflowing with bad advice for making sustainable and fulfilling income.

And it’s flabbergasting to still see some of that same bad advice being given today.

Here are 3 common suggestions that you should put on your No-No-No list…

BAD ADVICE #1: Give Away Business For Free

Here’s why that’s a bad idea: People that don’t invest anything for your services, products, or programs usually don’t make the most of them. And if they don’t make the most of them (take action), they won’t get results. Simple As Pie.

And if you can’t help people get the results they want, your confidence will DROP.

BAD ADVICE #2: It’s Normal To Work 60+ Hours/Week For An Entrepreneur Just Starting Out

Let’s Think This One Through All The Way…

If you’re wanting more time, more money, and more freedom, is working 60, 70, 80+ hours a week REALLY going to get you where you want to go? Has it yet?

Here’s what happens to most women who function with this mindset…

You work your hard 60-80 hours/week (all to get the freedom you long for) which leads to exhaustion and overwhelm. Which leads to not getting what you want, and getting the complete opposite of what you set out to achieve in the first place.

BAD ADVICE #3: All You Need To Do Is Follow Your Passion And Money Will Follow

Here’s why this is a bad idea: Women with passions will start to create and create and create. And dream and dream and dream. And what they create is amazing. And their dreams are big. And they’ll create and dream and create and dream…

But where is the “Get It Out Into The World” part that creates sustainable profits and exposure. Where’s the plan to keep your passions passionate and your business business-ing? Without a strategic plan with your passion in mind, passions will not make you money.

These are just 3 of the most common pieces of bad advice out there for women entrepreneurs. There’s way more where that came from. There’s bad advice for relationships and growing your team. There’s so much bad advice out there.

What if I told you there were 4 magic questions you could ask yourself that guarantee to filter out the bad advice from the good advice? Would you like that? I hope so, because here they are…

The 4 Questions To Filter Any Bad Advice From Your Life:

1. “Has this person who is giving the advice produced the result I’m looking for?”
2. “Have they used the advice that they’re giving me?”
3. “Do other people trust this person?”
4. “If I do this, is this going to get me closer to what I want?”

These questions give you a chance to cut the business advice bull and know what to do NEXT in your business (and your life).

Test them out today and let me know what you think. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

Until next time… STAY BIG!
