Some may call me “coach,” but I call myself a freedom architect.

Underneath all of the hustling and striving, we are all human beings who yearn to live life well.

I believe a life well lived is a life that constantly expands our understanding of who we are and what we are capable of – and that’s exactly what I help my clients do.

I am an expert guide and confidante for high-performing entrepreneurs who are ready to step into the freedom that their businesses can give them.

My approach combines nuts-and-bolts strategic business coaching with walk-beside-you partnership, helping you redefine success on your terms so you can own your role as CEO and live the life of your dreams.

Over the last decade, I have used this system to help hundreds of business owners enjoy more freedom, make more money, and own their role as the CEO of their business – on their own terms.

“It’s rare to find someone this good at business who isn’t also a dick.”

Chief Revenue Officer of Genus Capital Management

I’ve lived and traveled all over the world.

I was born in France, but my first language was Japanese. My first school was in Geneva. Although my parents hail from Brooklyn I didn’t call the U.S. “home” until I was 11.

Moving so much as a kid was rough. What felt like a hardship growing up, though, is an incredible blessing in business.

I learned how to find common ground and connect with people at the drop of a hat, which makes it easy to meet people where they are.
Growing up in so many different cultures taught me that we all want the same fundamental things: happiness, security, safety, and freedom.

Like my clients, I wear many hats: lover, spouse, mother, traveler, wine connoisseur, business owner, entrepreneur, high-impact strategist, mentor, international speaker, and coach.

I Built a Life and a Business That I Love to Lead– And I Want the Same For You

I’ve been a coach for over 3 decades and a business owner for more than 20 years.

I’ve worked with every type of business leader throughout my career – from C Suite executives of Fortune 500 companies to small business owners.

I walk my talk.

I have gone from taking one week off to enjoying eight weeks of vacation per year without sacrificing the quality of service I deliver to my clients.

I’m making more money while having more time to do what I love.

I’m living proof that you can build a successful business that empowers you to live life on your own terms.

“Dana Corey was instrumental in my business and my life at a time of unprecedented change as the world navigated the Covid-19 crisis. As a 25-year small business veteran at the top of my field, I was used to the
struggle and climb, so used to it actually, that sometimes it felt like all I knew of work was grit and determination; nothing felt easy or clear.

After meeting with Dana, my own desires and dreams came to the forefront. I realized I could jump into working on my OWN life, and working toward finding what made me truly happy, not just what made others happy. Now I am on a journey of self-discovery and daring to push past my fears of not always knowing exactly where I want to go, but clear on where I’ve been.

Working with Dana made my leap from a high paced life full of external rewards, but lacking in internal satisfaction so much clearer; her wisdom and experience in truly listening to what is behind the stories I told myself was the catalyst of that shift.”

What I Believe About Business

I believe being a successful business owner is 90% being and only 10% doing.

I believe the highest probability of the deepest transformation takes place in intimate conversation over time.

Failure is inevitable—it is part of the process. Personal growth is never easy. It can be fun and exciting and exhilarating, but it’s not an uphill shot from beginning to end.
I believe that if you look at failure as the opposite of success, you’ve missed the point. Failure is part of success.

I believe, at the heart of the matter, growing a business is all about personal growth. It’s about challenging our assumptions and pushing our boundaries, and finding out what we are really capable of achieving.

Am I the Right Coach for You?

I have a BIG personality.

I don’t beat around the bush and I practice what I preach. I’ve been known to be more than a little irreverent.

I like to have fun. If something is going to be a slog, forget about it.

And I’m more than willing to bend the rules.

Which rules? Any rules.

“If I was stranded on a desert island, but still had to run my business, I’d bring Dana with me (and she’d bring super good food, drink and guidance with her) Nobody helps clarify business purpose, goals and the actual, real-life tangible tactics like Dana. She takes her years of experience and customizes her coaching rather than using a cookie-cutter approach.

After working with Dana, my business goals and the path for achieving them are so much clearer, logical and fur to pursue. Plus, she makes business stuff that used to be a pain, an actual pleasure. Now that’s something.”
